Make the care plan equipment-specific
Provide known model details and describe any debris or water at the particular garage. Cleaning needs and moving-part care should follow the actual manufacturer guidance. Point out affected surfaces without treating every building on the property identically, and keep care products away from components or finishes for which they are not recommended.
Keep a future project distinct from care
Ask for condition findings and any repairs as separate recommendations. If replacement or an opening alteration is proposed, the Town’s current building process uses MGO for applicable submissions and inspections. Discuss access to the correct building and the relevant project record without turning a maintenance appointment into an assumed site-wide renovation.
Your questions
Should I include an infrequently used second garage?
Identify it separately and request its assessment if wanted. Different use does not prove that both systems need identical work.
Can routine maintenance replace damaged lifting cables?
Cable damage requires a defined repair and safe professional handling. It should not be hidden inside an unexplained general-care label.
