Describe the interruption to everyday access
Tell Henry’s whether a vehicle is trapped, whether the door stops at one point or whether a sound appeared after something contacted it. Give the current position without forcing it through another cycle. If the opening is also used for storage access, keep belongings out of the travel path and tell the technician about any obstruction that cannot safely be moved.
Compare a repair against the condition of the whole door
The assessment should explain whether the fault is confined to a serviceable part or involves damaged sections, supports or track. Ask what the quoted work includes and what remains unchanged. A new opener, repainting and a new door are different projects; one should not appear in the estimate merely because all three are possible upgrades.
